Danadorn

This race is the easiest to explain in terms of their physical and social characteristics, as they are almost human, resembling us closely! Even in this "end of the world," we have human beings in pursuit of glory and power. Their earliest records date back to around 5,700 B/SI years. To translate their name, Danadorn, into the common language which now belongs to this race (I will explain how in another moment), this linguistic assimilation has expanded throughout Vizyerus, overtaking even older languages. "Dana" translates to "Golden," and "Dorn" to "Water." They inhabit the vast territory of Messingrad, particularly in Grindorn, situated on the Great Plain that shares the same name, within a temperate climate.

At first glance, they appear to be calm, and in social terms, they maintain a balanced relationship with other beings in Vizyerus. However, it would be incorrect to label them as entirely peaceful or unambitious. They exhibit diplomatic traits, perhaps more so than any other kingdom in the world. Nonetheless, they are also driven by ambition and self-interest. It's sufficient to look at ourselves and project these characteristics onto them. Currently, Kael Elyndur, who assumed leadership after his father's passing in 992 A/SI, stands as the Paladin guiding this impressive nation.

He takes pride in possessing one of the most robust defenses among all the kingdoms. The magnificent and powerful Forenwaul Castle, constructed a few years ago by Kerr Elyndur, known as "The Mason" and Kael's grandfather, once held the position of Paladin within the Danadorn society. Kerr was regarded as one of the most significant and accomplished rulers in Danadorn history. The port capital, Danagork, situated along the Nan River, has never experienced invasion. This sense of security, however, may lead to a certain overconfidence.

Speculation abounds regarding a potential alliance, bringing together the Danadorns with the Izillians and the Shav Gorins against the "Evil's Horde," as often discussed in the taverns, streets, and alleys of the capital. But is this alliance truly a possibility? Kael doesn't enjoy the same acclaim and popularity that his grandfather did, yet who knows, after The Judgment Day, he might just transform into "Kael, The Conqueror"?
