Era of Battles: Alliances, Apocalypse, and Exodus

The games Era of Battles are Strategy card-games which are turn-based. Each player takes his turn, which is split into different phases. When his turn is over, the next player takes his turn, and so on until one player is declared the winner.

 

Each player gathers a deck which represents his Kingdom, the roster for that Kingdom, the tokens which signify life points and blocked actions, and is ready to begin the game. A game is only played among 2 people, but since the game box includes 6 kingdoms, up to 3 pairs can be playing at once.

The series: Era of Battles can be played in 2 levels of difficulty: Standard - Expert

Each deck is formed by 4 types of cards: attack, defense, spell, and power. The player turn is divided into 2 phases: attack/defense and spell.

Every Kingdom has his particular rules, which means different cards with different effects.

The goal of the game is to reduce the opponent to 0 or less LP. With the cards in hands, the best Strategy will win.

 

A Era of Battles game box is composed of:

- 6 decks with 40 cards, 1 per Kingdom

- 6 kingdoms rosters, 1 per Kingdom

- 6 life tokens, 1 per Kingdom

- 6 boost tokens, 1 per Kingdom

- 6 poison tokens, 1 per Kingdom

- 6 turn tokens, 1 per Kingdom

- 24 action blocked tokens, 4 per Kingdom

- 1 rule book

Tomorrow is the big day in Visyerus, if that is a big day, where peace will cease to exist, and perhaps that word altogether, too: The Judgment Day. All kingdoms had 1,000 years to prepare and did so for sure. Siege weapons, swords and shields, helmets and spears, ax and armor, crossbows and bows. This is the arsenal for the battles to come. Without missing, of course, a lot of magic, either to break through the defenses of a castle, or to defend them. From that day on, blood and death replaced water and life. Last day of the year 999 A / SI: do you still have these questions?

Why did The Constructors create all these beings? If they sent Lurax and his metallic draconian brothers, why 1,000 years peace? Why create this commandment only, or why just keep it for a millenium , and not for all eternity? Why allow death among brothers, relatives and beings of the same race and not to their different ones?

18 kingdoms will fight each other: Ak Shabakk, Azzroth, Buskur, Danadorn, Dee'Ench, Fahanzel, Izillian, Khorin Drul, Labuluu, Modrayas, Nexiss'Korq, Qsi Tesan, Ryphian, Shav Gorin, Theus, Wukaal, Y'rc Mtil and Zelfrin. Some will fight for glory, others for pleasure and some for survival. After 1,000 years of peace due to The Supreme Intervation, we are on the eve of The Judgment Day, a day that will start a new era and the last of Visyerus, The Era of Battles.

 

Are you ready to take on one of these kingdoms and take it to glory and dominate all Visyerus? So raise your flags, play the drums, spread your bows, raise your swords, trot with your horses, give your battle cry and advance with your army for glory or for shame, for victory or for defeat, to live or to die!

        Rumors say that, along the taverns and alleys of each village and town of Visyerus, on the continent of Messingrad, where the 6 kingdoms that survived the carnage of previous eras, alliances were made between the Danadorns, the Izzilians and the Shav Gorins to fight the Evil's Horde, and  those aliances formed by the Ak Shabakks, the Theus and the Wukaals. We’re not sure about this information, truths by day can turn into lies at night. Just like sworn allies, into deadly enemies.

        On the continent, north of Visyerus, in Toonbruin, the Azzaroths will come out from under the ground while the Fahanzels will fall from the sky over their heads, the Dee'Ench will advance like a tornado through the Cheewtyukoo jungle, towards the east and, from the west, Qsi Tesans will come against, like a tsunami. The Ryphians and the Labuluus will dispute who will bite and tear the other's flesh first. The Apocalypse arrived in Visyerus' lands, waters, all through the airs, spreading fire over all Visyerus.

        And 6 portals were opened bringing terror and more hopelessness to the lands already bathed in blood of Visyerus. In the archipelago of Nhuic, 6 new kingdoms came from their collapsed world after Armageddon that they themselves created, and settled in the 6 great islands of Nhuic. The Buskurs, the Khorim Druls, the Modrayas, the Nexiss'Korqs, the Y’rc Mtils and the Zelfrins came in search of new homes, new conquests and more destruction. They arrived just on the eve of Judgment Day, why is it?
