Modrayas
This race does not seem to have come from another world where there is life, but from the world of death, desolation and suffering. Hazelmare reports that The Modrayas are beings that do not feed on anything constant, but on energy (positive or negative) and the vigor of the souls of other living creatures. I would describe as skeletons provided with intelligence, or dead provided with life. The portal they came through was opened on the island of Genni, perhaps the coldest place in all Visyerus. For them, the cold is irrelevant, as well as the life of others.
The interesting thing is that behind this “lived death”, there are the most intelligent beings that Hazelmare knows. This compensates for their poor dexterity, build and perception, and they reasonably strong. Their defenses do not intimidate anyone and are an invitation to serve as a banquet (although the taste of the poor meat is not at all pleasant!) But, being one of the 6 survivors and the most intelligent race that now lodges in Visyerus, one must think twice, or more, before attacking them.
Dechaaruz, the Ancient Lich, is the leader that determined a single location on the island of Genni, in the new castle they are building, where he will house all his species. In every corner of the castle a being will wander that will make the walls come alive, with the scent of death. For sure, they will use their intelligence and all their attributes that they have on the negative side, and thus, destroy those who dare to visit their rooms.
Hazelmare also says that of the 6 kingdoms that came to Visyerus, this is the one most responsible for the destruction of their original world, thus forcing them to make The Exodus. Who, lucid, or rather, wise would do something like this? Or is his intelligence beyond my comprehension, or am I failing to see what his goals are and what is the dead man's main motivation in wanting to live only to kill?
